For those of you who attended the NCLC conference last week, we probably all agree that it was a successful/exciting event. We were given the opportunity to hear great speakers such as Kurt Campbell, Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, talk about the importance of U.S.- China relations as well as wonderful performances given by talented students in the Bay Area.
We also had a wonderful time meeting and talking with fellow teachers, educators and friends about the current state of Chinese language learning, what we can do to better help schools and teachers, and the needs of our students. We are all excited about what lies in the future in terms of Chinese education and hope that this type of discourse will continue on to promote innovation and growth.
We also want to congratulate Yu Lin Peng, a student teacher at Fordham University, for winning the iPad2 at our NCLC raffle! It was a suspenseful 3-day conference with over 200 entries and only 1 winner. Congratulations again to Peng Laoshi!
To celebrate, we are extending FREE downloads of the popular Piggy Picnic app until the end of the week 4/26/2011. You can learn more and download here.
