Date and Time: Saturday March 14, 2015, 1:00 pm-4:00 pm PST Location: Jane Lathrop Stanford Middle School (480 E Meadow Dr, Palo Alto, CA 94306) Schedule: 12:00-13:00     Lunch Break (Food provided) & Teacher Swap Shop/ DIY Workshop 13:00-13:50     Two Sections: 1. How to Create a Multimedia Classroom 2. Increasing Rigor and Developing Vocabulary Fluency Via Online Learning 14:00-14:50    Two Sections: 1. Authentic Learning in the 21st Century: Preparing Students to be Globally Competent 2. Adopting New Technologies to Enhance Teaching 15:00-16:00     Differentiated Instruction: Using Discovering Chinese Pro to Flip Your Classroom and Create Engagement Fees: This is a FREE sponsored event by Better Chinese for teachers working for a school delivering Chinese courses. For teachers not working for a school, fees are $100 per instructor.
