The Benefits of a Bilingual Education

Last week, Time published an article on "The Power of the Bilingual Brain" and the photo above shows a group of Utah first-graders listening and reading our My First Chinese Words books.
There are so many reasons to have your child learn a second language, but here are a few:
  • Bilingual children are more effective at multi-tasking.
  • Adults who speak more than one language do a better job prioritizing information in potentially confusing situations.
  • Being bilingual helps ward off early symptoms of Alzheimer's disease in the elderly.
