Chinese Education Conference 2009 in San Francisco

Hi Educators, Teachers, and Friends, I want to make sure if you have a chance to attend the Chinese Education Conference in San Francisco in 2009, please drop by the Better Chinese booth. This is the 2nd year that Chinese American International School (CAIS) is hosting the conference for the educators. We attended the conference last year and found it to be useful to meet perspective schools that are thinking about starting Chinese programs. Please go to their website to see details. Click here. The conference is from March 13-15. There is another conference for CFL educators in Chicago, IL later this year. NCLC, or National Chinese Language Conference. Clickhere April 30-May 2, 2009. This conference tends to draw more people and speakers in the past years. The conference is hosted by Asia Society and College Board. They started this conference two years ago in Portland, Oregon. In 2007, when it started, Better Chinese was present at the conference and presented to educators, criteria for CFL Curriculum materials. Back then, the conference was pretty small and there was no name - NCLC. Its 2008 event was by far, much, much bigger! Better Chinese will be at both conferences this year. Please look us up and we hope to share and learn about your vision and program. Please also come back to k12mandarin.org for more information on conferences and other training opportunities. Best,
