  If you are purchasing through our website, international shipping costs beyond North America will be based on the type of products, quantity, and location of purchase. Please DO NOT select PayPal. We will adjust a lower shipping rate during order processing according to other international shipping methods. In other words, the shipping estimate that you see when you go through the shopping cart won't be the amount that we charge you for shipping. We will adjust that amount based on what you ordered and your location (amount is always lower) and then send the invoice to you to verify before we process your credit card payment.

After you order, you will receive a confirmation email from our system, followed by an electronic invoice, and finally a shipping notice along with the tracking number for your order. When you contact us, please provide us your order number, so we can check for you.

A brief overview of our 4 series:

For the program series, My First Chinese Reader, Discovering Chinese, and Magical Tour of China, they are each divided into 4 volumes. As you move from Volume 1 through 4, the language level progresses in difficulty. Online lessons and CD-ROMs both have animated lesson stories. But for the online lessons, it has interactive exercises and three more level-appropriate supplemental materials such as Magical Chinese, Fun Story and Songs & Rhymes.

The My First Chinese Words audio CD is a read along that goes with the 36 My First Chinese Words little book set. They are audio narrations of the individual stories. The CD comes with the box set and is useful for students to practice listening comprehension, emphasizing the pronunciation of words and sentence patterns.

The Sing with Better Chinese Audio CD, on the other hand, is a set of 4 CDs that consists of 36 songs related to the individual My First Chinese Words storybooks.? The songs help children learn Chinese in a fun and memorable way.?

The My First Chinese Words series also comes in a CD-ROM format where the lesson stories are animated accompanied by songs for students to watch and sing along.

• My First Chinese Words - It usually takes five 45-minute classes or two 90-minute classes for 1 lesson. However, for the younger learners, you would design additional cultural modules and games around the lesson, which can take roughly 1 year to complete 12 to 18 storybooks.
• My First Chinese Reader - It usually takes five 45-minute classes or two 90-minute classes for 1 lesson. However, for the younger learners, you would design additional cultural and language modules and games related to the lesson, which can take approximately 1 year to complete 1 volume.
• Discovering Chinese - We typically suggest taking five 45-minute classes or two 90- minute classes for each individual lesson.
