It is very helpful for me in my efforts to learn Chinese (I am a beginner).My two-year-old son likes it very much also, which is saying something! My favorite series are My First Chinese Words and My First Chinese Readers. I am encouraging my local Chinese school to consider using your products in their curricula. I really enjoy the new black and white stories that focus on one specific character in Chinese writing.

We have been studying Chinese for about 3 years now. We started by organizing a group of adoptive families who were interested in learning Chinese together with their children. When I saw the material you folks put out my face brightened as this was the kind of material that I believe we should have started our daughter with. After 3 years of study she finds your books engaging and fun. We also have the CD-ROM which is nice. I would like to see all of our adopted Chinese daughters learn from your series of materials as I believe they are the best I've seen thus far anywhere for teaching Chinese as a second language to young students. We are now on the 5th book. The booklets finally make learning Chinese fun for our daughter! She sleeps with them under her pillow!

The Better Chinese CD-Rom and accompanying books are how I first started learning to speak Chinese with my daughter. They are lively, educational, useful and even fun for both of us. Hearing the language spoken with the cartoon like characters on the computer and then trying to speak with the books with the same characters and pictures, I found myself remembering more than I ever imagined. The Better Chinese Audio CD reinforces the lessons on the CD-Rom remarkably. I had only mastered a few of the CD-ROM lessons when I began to listen to the Audio CD. Afterwards, I was inspired to go back and master all of them, so that I could talk and sing and follow along with all of the tracks on the CD. The Better Chinese Exercise Books are a great way to learn how to read Chinese. They start with the basics writing and recognizing Chinese characters.These Exercise Books also go hand in hand with the lessons on the CD-Rom.
